The Deputy director of the Institute of Geology, Oil and Mining, an associate professor of Satbayev University, a candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences and an academician of the International Academy of Informatization (IAI), corresponding member of the National Academy of Mining Sciences. The supervisor of the two and the executor of a number of fundamental and grant research projects.

Qualification: a mining engineer-geologist and a teacher with 16 years of experience. Winner of the state scientific scholarship for talented young scientists in 2008 - 2010.

Has begun his pedagogical activity in 2004 as an assistant at the “Geological Survey, Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits” department of the Satbayev University. Continued on to work as a lecturer from 2006 to 2008, a senior lecturer from 2008 to 2011, a docent from 2011 to 2016, and works as an associate professor of the department from 2016 to present. Meanwhile, has held the post of deputy director of the K.Turysov Geological Exploration Institute for educational and methodical work of the Satbayev University from 2004 to 2008. Besides, has been working part-time as a researcher since 2007 and as a senior researcher at the “Geological and Ore Formations Scientific Group” since 2011. Holds the position of the deputy director of the Institute of Geology, Oil and Mining starting from 2019.         Additional Information:

The main research areas:

Geology, prospecting and exploration of copper and gold deposits, metallogeny; search criterias and ore-controlling structures of epithermal gold-silver and copper-porphyry deposits; regional geology and geology of ore deposits.

While working at Satbayev University, Y.K.Arshamov is as a actively involved as scientific adviser and an executor (senior researcher) in carrying out fundamental and funded research projects. He participated in the following research projects:

  1. “The geodynamic evolution of the Kendyktas-Zaili region from the perspective of modern mobilism and the metallogenic analysis of its ore-bearing structures” (2006-2008);
  2. “Development of models for the formation of deposits and scientifically based criteria for the industrial evaluation of ferrous, non-ferrous and noble metals” (2009-2011);
  3. “Identification of  stratigraphic, tectonic, magmatic, lithological and geodynamic criterias of ore-bearing structures to build geodynamic models of the development of Kazakhstan” (2009-2011);
  4. “Compilation of large-scale forecast maps, sections of diagrams and summarizing reporting materials in order to select objects for prospecting and evaluation work on important ore nodes” (2012-2014);
  5. “Analysis of the epithermal gold-silver mineralization of the Zhongar-Balkhash region and the identification of promising areas for the discovery of large deposits of a new type” (2012-2014);
  6. «Identification of promising areas of prospecting for mineral deposits based on new data on the patterns of their manifestations in the paleozoids of Kazakhstan ” (2015-2017).
  7. “Studying the ore content of ring structures in Central and Southern   Kazakhstan and

identifying among them the most promising for setting up exploratory works” (2018-2020).

         Scientific project management:

Has been was the supervisor of a grant research project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Reassessment of industrial prospects of copper-porphyry mineralization of continental volcanic-plutonic belts (devonian and late paleozoic) of Kazakhstan in the light of modern geodynamic concepts" from 2015 to 2017.

Currently he is the scientific leader of the research project on the topic “The influence of fault-fault tectonics within the Aktogay deposit on the change in the mineral composition of copper-porphyry mineralization” for 2018-2019. This scientific project is funded by “KAZ Minerals Aktogay” LLP.

Over the past five years, the main results of scientific research and educational work of Y.K.Arshamov, whether co-authored or written individually, have been published in 43 works, including 4 study guides and a number of educational programs and curricula in the specialty of "Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits." 7 of the scientific articles and reports published in journals and scientific conferences are indexed in the Scopus database. Scientific articles and abstracts have been published abroad and in publications across the state, including those recommended by the Monitoring Committee for Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Аршамов Ялкунжан Камалович

Заместитель директора Института геологии, нефти и горного дела и ассоциированный профессор Satbayev University, кандидат геолого-минералогических наук, академик Международной академии информатизации (МАИН), член-корреспондент Национальной академии горных наук (НАГН). Руководитель двух и исполнитель  ряда фундаментальных и грантовых научных проектов.

Квалификация – горный инженер-геолог, преподаватель со стажем работы 16 лет. Обладатель государственной научной стипендии для талантливых молодых ученых на 2008 – 2010 годы.

Свою педагогическую и профессиональную деятельность начал с 2004 года в должности ассистента кафедры «Геологическая съемка, поиски и разведка месторождений полезных ископаемых». С 2006 по 2008 г.г. преподаватель, 2008-2011 г.г. старший преподаватель, 2011-2016 г.г. доцент, а с  2016 года по настоящее время ассоциированный профессор  кафедры «Геологическая съемка, поиски и разведка месторождений полезных ископаемых». С ноября 2004 года по сентябрь 2008 года занимал должность заместителя директора Геологоразведочного института имени К.Турысова  по учебно-методической работе КазНТУ имени К.И. Сатпаева. С  октября 2007 года работает по совместительству  научным сотрудником, а с 2011 года старшим научным сотрудником научной  группы «Геологических и рудных формаций» в Институте геологических наук имени К.И.Сатпаева.  А с сентября 2019 года является заместителем директора Института Геологии, нефти и горного дела Satbayev University.

Основные научные направления исследований:

Геология, поиски и разведка  месторождений меди и золота, металлогения. Изучение поисковых критериев и рудоконтролирующих структур эпитермальных золото-серебряных и медно-порфировых месторождений.. Региональная геология и геология рудных месторождений.

Работая в Satbayev University, Я.К. Аршамов активно принимает участие в качестве руководителя и исполнителя (старшего научного сотрудника) в проведении фундаментальных и грантовых научно-исследовательских проектах. Принимал участие в следующих научно-исследовательских проектах:

  1. «Геодинамическая эволюция Кендыктас-Заилийского региона с позиции современного мобилизма и металлогенический анализ его рудоносных структур» (2006-2008 годы);
  2. «Разработка моделей образования месторождений и научно-обоснованных критериев промышленной оценки черных, цветных и благородных металлов» (2009-2011 годы);
  3. «Выявить стратиграфические, тектонические, магматические, литологические и геодинамические критерии рудоносных структур, построить геодинамические модели развития Казахстана» (2009-2011 годы);
  4. «Составление крупномасштабных прогнозных карт, разрезов диаграмм и обобщающих отчётных материалов с целью выбора объектов для производства поисково-оценочных работ по важным рудным узлам» (2012-2014 годы);
  5. «Анализ эпитермального золото-серебряного оруденения Жонгаро-Балхашского региона и выделение перспективных площадей для обнаружения крупных месторождений нового типа» (2012-2014 годы);
  6. «Выявление перспективных направлений поисков месторождений полезных ископаемых на базе новых данных о закономерностях их проявлений в палеозоидах Казахстана» (2015-2017 годы).
  7. Принимает участие в проведении научно-исследовательских работ по проекту «Изучение рудоносности кольцевых структур Центрально и Южного Казахстана и выявление среди них наиболее перспективных для постановки поисковых работ» на 2018-2020 г.г.

         Руководство научными проектами:

В 2015-2017 годы  был научным руководителем грантового научно-исследовательского проекта МОН РК по теме «Переоценка промышленных перспектив медно-порфирового оруденения континентальных вулкано-плутонических поясов (девонского и позднепалеозойских) Казахстана в свете современных геодинамических концепций».

На сегодняшний день является научным руководителем научно-исследовательского проекта по теме «Влияние приразломной тектоники в пределах месторождения Актогай на изменение минерального состава медно-порфирового оруденения» на 2018-2019 г.г. Научный проект финансируется ТОО «КAZ Minerals Aktogay».

За последние пять лет основные результаты научных исследований и учебно-методической работы  Я.К. Аршамова  в соавторстве и единолично опубликованы в 43 трудах, в том числе 4 учебных пособия и соавтор ряда образовательных программ и учебных планов по специальности «Геология и разведка месторождений  полезных ископаемых».  7 научных статей и докладов опубликованы в журналах и научных конференциях, индексируемых в базе Scopus. Научные статьи и тезисы докладов  опубликованы в дальнем и ближнем зарубежье, в республиканских изданиях и в изданиях рекомендуемых Комитетом по контролю в сфере образования и науки МОН РК.
